Peter Pan, Pan Jr, and Red Ranger

Adrian wears his Red Ranger costume EVERY DAY, EVERYWHERE HE GOES, ever since his birthday a month ago. He sleeps in it (even with those uncomfortable-looking plastic pieces on his shoulders...gotta be ready to fight crime anytime.) If he decides to put "regular" clothes on, they go over the costume, making for an extremely buff-looking five-year-old. The best is when he adds his button-down shirt, dress pants, belt and tie (I call that "corperate Adrian") which were his favorites before he became Red Ranger, OVER THE TOP of the muscle suit. Tres chic.

Jonas, as you can tell, is obsessed with Peter Pan and can usually be found dressed to impress as some Peter Pan/Batman/cowboy/drag queen hybrid. In the top photo, he christened Escher with his spare Peter Pan hat. Quite an honor.

I love these boys!

Isn't dress-up one of the best things about being a kid? You can be whatever you want, and when you get tired of that (if you ever get tired of that) you can just change clothes and be whatever else you want to be! I'm so jealous!

I think that's why I love Halloween so much -- it's the only time grownups can play full-on dressup without arousing judgments of mental unfitness!
